UFO ‘Mother Ships’ Near US Military Bases Cause Alarm, Pentagon Responds

The Pentagon is facing new questions about national security after a series of UFO sightings near US military installations. Former senior intelligence official Chris Mellon has revealed that “mother ships” releasing smaller drones have been spotted over multiple high-security locations.

Last December, UFOs were seen flying over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia for 17 nights. The crafts, which moved quickly and displayed flashing lights, entered restricted airspace without any effort to remain concealed. Similar incidents were reported near Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works facility in California, where advanced military aircraft are developed.

Mellon expressed concern about the UFOs in an interview with the Daily Mail, describing how the drones appeared to be taunting the military by flying openly. Retired Gen. Mark Kelly confirmed that drones were also seen near Naval Station Norfolk, the world’s largest naval base.

Despite using advanced signal-jamming devices, the military has been unable to disrupt the UFOs, raising concerns about the technology behind these crafts. Mellon suggested that the drones could be foreign intelligence tools, possibly from China, though their exact origin remains a mystery.

The sightings have prompted White House briefings and updates for President Joe Biden as the Pentagon continues its investigation. Federal law prohibits shooting down drones unless they pose an imminent threat, which has complicated the military’s response.

As the investigation continues, officials are left trying to understand the potential threat posed by these UFOs and how to respond to future incidents.
