Trump Throws ‘Commit To Caucus’ MAGA Rally In Nevada

Former President Donald Trump treated Nevada supporters to a MAGA rally on Saturday, about two weeks before the state’s caucus on Feb. 8.

Dubbed the “Commit to Caucus” rally, Trump held the event in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon. “With the help of everyone here today, we’re going to secure a gigantic win in the Nevada caucuses on Thursday,” Trump said. “We’re not going to have a lot of competition, I think, but it doesn’t matter. We want to get a great, beautiful mandate.”

After his commanding victories in the Republican Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary, and with only one other contender left in the nominating contest, analysts and commentators expect Trump to sweep up Nevada GOP delegates in another decisive win on Feb. 8.

After losing to Trump in New Hampshire and to Trump and DeSantis in Iowa, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) is sitting out Nevada. She will not speak to voters at any events in the state ahead of the Nevada Caucus.

“Talk to the people in Nevada, they will tell you the caucuses have been sealed up, bought, and paid for a long time. So that’s why we got into the primary,” Haley told reporters last week when asked why she is skipping the Silver State. “That’s the Trump train rolling through that. But we’re going to focus on the states that are fair.”

“We are a nation that has quite simply lost its way, but we are not going to allow this horror to continue,” Trump told supporters at the rally. “Three years ago, we were a great nation, and we will soon be a great nation again.”

Speaking to introduce Trump, conservative journalist Wayne Allen Root said, “Drop everything. This is our mission. This is our gift from God. [ … ] This is why we were born. This is a nine-month run for the history books. Be relentless, be tenacious. Fight like cornered wolverines. Attack. Like Gen. George Patton, we will never accept defeat.”

At one point during the event, when a group of anti-Trump protestors became rowdy, Trump supporters didn’t wait on security. They shouted down the protestors and physically pushed them out of the venue.
