Tom Homan, the newly appointed border czar under President Donald Trump, declared that the next administration will aggressively pursue the deportation of every illegal immigrant in the United States.
Homan, who previously led U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), discussed the administration’s approach to immigration enforcement during a Fox News interview, emphasizing that no one will be spared from removal.
Homan’s comments were directed at the Democrats who have vowed to obstruct immigration enforcement in sanctuary cities. He blasted these policies, which often protect illegal immigrants, including criminals, from deportation. Homan questioned what kind of politician would support keeping criminals in their communities, stating, “What politician, whether you’re a mayor or governor, is saying, ‘No, I want public safety threats to remain in my community?’”

He argued that sanctuary cities and states, which refuse to cooperate with federal immigration officials, only make things worse by enabling the release of criminals who should be deported. When ICE agents come to remove criminal aliens, they often encounter additional illegal immigrants who are also subject to deportation.
Homan also spoke out against amnesty, warning that such a policy would only encourage more illegal immigration. “If you don’t have consequences, they’re going to keep coming,” he explained. The former ICE director emphasized that the U.S. cannot afford to send the message that illegal immigration is tolerated, or the crisis will continue unabated.
When Tom Homan starts rounding up illegals, there will be a mass exodus to the sanctuary cities to escape deportation. See how they like that.

Under Homan’s leadership, the Trump administration is expected to enforce immigration laws more rigorously. He reiterated that crossing the border illegally is a crime, and anyone who has entered the U.S. unlawfully will be deported if they are ordered to leave. Homan made it clear that there would be no exceptions.
