Obama Snaps At Protesters During Expensive Biden Fundraiser

Former President Barack Obama was attending a glitzy fundraiser for President Joe Biden in New York City when he snapped at the protesters that had made their way inside the event.

“You can’t just talk, you have to listen,” Obama told the protesters in frustration as they interrupted the event on six different occasions according to the New York Post.

Most of the protesters were outside holding up signs and yelling chants about the Israel-Hamas War, but some of the protesters made their way inside as well. One protester held up a sign that read “War Pig” while others shouted “Blood on your hands” and “Shame on you Joe Biden.”

Biden called the event a “grassroots fundraiser,” but it cost $500,000 for a seat and was hosted by actress Mindy Kaling. Former President Bill Clinton joined Biden and Obama on the stage and the three presidents sat for an armchair panel hosted by Stephen Colbert.

During the fundraiser, Kaling joked, “It is such an honor to be in this room with so many rich people. People are paying up to $500,000 to be here tonight. For that kind of money at an RNC fundraiser, you get to be Secretary of State.”

While Biden was hosting a fundraiser that ended up raising more than $25 million, former President Donald Trump was also in New York City, but for different reasons.

Trump was in town to attend the wake held for New York City police officer Jonathan Diller. Diller was killed during a routine traffic stop, in the line of duty. He left behind a wife and a one-year-old son.

“President Trump will be honoring the life and legacy of Officer Diller and paying respects to his family, friends, and the NYPD for their terrible loss,” Trump spokesperson Stephen Cheung told Breitbart. “Meanwhile, the Three Stooges…will be at a glitzy fundraiser in the city with their elitist, out-of-touch celebrity benefactors.”

As Biden and his Democratic supporters were celebrating and raising money, Trump was speaking with the family of a fallen officer. Officer Diller was shot during a routine traffic stop by a suspect with 21 prior arrests, highlighting New York Democrats’ leniency towards crime.
