Maddow Furious Over MSNBC’s Coverage Of Trump’s Victory Speech

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow recently decried former President Donald Trump’s historic primary victories on Super Tuesday. She demanded an explanation as to why MSNBC was covering Trump’s victory speech following the elections.

Maddow claimed that Trump was deceitful during his victory speech and was livid over MSNBC’s coverage of the former president.

“I will say that it is a decision that we revisit constantly in terms of the balance between allowing somebody to knowingly lie on your air about things they’ve lied about before and you can predict they are going to lie about,” the MSNBC host said. “And so, therefore, it is irresponsible to allow them to do that.”

“It’s a balance between knowing that that’s irresponsible to broadcast and also knowing that as the de facto, soon to be de facto nominee of the Republican Party, this is not only the man who is likely to be the Republican candidate for president, but this is the way he’s running,” Maddow added.

During a previous segment on MSNBC, Maddow angrily reacted to Trump’s landslide primary win in the Iowa caucuses, calling on the network to stop covering the former president’s victory speech.

“At this point in the evening, the projected winner of the Iowa caucuses has just started giving his victory speech,” Maddow said in January 2024. “We will keep an eye on that as it happens. We will let you know if there is any news made in that speech if there is anything newsworthy, something substantive and important.”

As PJ Media pointed out, leftists such as Maddow give preferential treatment to Democrats like President Joe Biden.

Maddow’s anger over covering Trump’s victory speech on Super Tuesday comes as Democrats are fearful over the former president’s chances to defeat Biden in 2024, given the president’s low approval rating and concerns over his old age.

A recent poll by YouGov spelled trouble for Biden, showing Trump defeating him by two percentage points in the forthcoming election.

Over 65% of respondents felt the U.S. was headed in the wrong direction under the president’s watch. Only 42% of individuals held a favorable view of Biden.
