Kristi Noem: DHS Identifies Leakers Who Sabotaged ICE Raids, Vows Consequences

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed that her agency has tracked down some of the leakers responsible for compromising a planned ICE operation. The leak, which revealed details of an immigration enforcement action in Los Angeles, disrupted ICE efforts and sparked protests from activist groups.

Noem, speaking on Fox News, made it clear that leaking classified information will not be tolerated. “They will be fired. There will be consequences,” she said, noting that more individuals could be identified as the investigation continues.

DHS has been using a range of tools, including polygraph tests and email monitoring, to determine who provided the press with sensitive information. Noem warned that the leaks not only hindered law enforcement efforts but also endangered ICE agents in the field.

Since taking office, President Donald Trump has pushed for stronger immigration enforcement, rolling back Biden-Harris policies that limited ICE’s ability to detain and deport criminals. However, sanctuary cities and open-border activists have worked against these efforts, often providing safe havens for illegal immigrants.

Noem stressed that exposing ICE operations is a national security risk. “We are not here to play games,” she said. “These leakers will be held accountable.”

DHS has yet to disclose the number of people identified or their specific roles, but Noem confirmed that further action will be taken to prevent future breaches.
