JD Vance Condemns Cheney’s Harris Endorsement, Says They ‘Profit’ From America’s Wars

Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) blasted former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) following her endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris. Vance accused both Cheney and Harris of profiting from wars that send American soldiers into harm’s way.

Speaking with Charlie Kirk at a Turning Point USA event, Vance didn’t hold back, arguing that Cheney has built her career by advocating for military conflicts that cost American lives. “Liz Cheney and Kamala Harris get richer when America loses wars,” Vance stated. He went on to criticize the Washington establishment, which he believes backs endless wars while benefiting financially.

Kirk noted the contrast between the Washington insiders, who are rallying behind Harris, and those who support peace, like Trump and Vance. Vance emphasized that the country needs leaders who prioritize American strength and security over foreign conflicts that weaken the nation.

Vance also called out Cheney’s involvement in pushing for military intervention in Afghanistan, where he believes countless American lives were lost for unrealistic goals. “Her entire career has been about sending young Americans to fight and die for her bad ideas,” Vance added.

Cheney’s decision to endorse Harris comes as no surprise given her outspoken criticism of Trump, especially following the Capitol protests in January 2021. Cheney has consistently blamed Trump for the unrest and has refused to support him in the upcoming election, citing concerns over his leadership and the direction of the country.
