Hulk Hogan’s Faith Tested In Dangerous Situation Following Baptism

It appears wrestling icon Hulk Hogan was tested to see if he was devoted to his faith in dangerous situations following his baptism.

On Jan. 14, 2024, Hogan, alongside his wife Sky Daily Hogan, were seen leaving a restaurant in Florida, when “a car erratically swerved across the lanes to catch an exit it was about to miss — and in the process … clipped another car, which our sources say flipped over and tumbled,” according to TMZ.

Law enforcement in Tampa, Florida, told WTVT-TV that the car wreck occurred on the Veterans Expressway near Clearwater, Florida.

The driver involved in the crash was a 17-year-old girl whose vehicle was flipped upside down. Hogan and his friend, Jake Rusk, quickly acted to rescue the teenager.

On Facebook, Hogan’s wife detailed the events.

“Last night, after we left dinner in Tampa, we saw a car flip in front of us! I truly admire my husband @hulkhogan and our good buddy @jakerask for springing into action, puncturing the girl’s airbag, and getting her quickly out of the car,” she wrote. “By all appearances, she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle.”

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Hogan recalled using a ballpoint pen he received from Indian Rocks Baptist Church, where he and his wife were baptized nearly a month before the incident.

“The crazy part about the teenager that flipped her car was that without a knife to puncture the airbags to get her out, an Indian Rocks Christian ballpoint pen came in really handy to pot the bags, thank you, God, all is well even now, Amen HH,” Hogan wrote.

Hogan and Rusk’s life-saving actions allowed the 17-year-old girl to leave the car wreck without any injuries.

The recent car crash and Hogan’s involvement in it resemble the wrestling legend’s devotion to his Christian faith.

The Christian Post reported that Hogan and his wife were baptized on Dec. 20, 2023, with the wrestling icon celebrating his baptism, writing on X, “Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!”
