President Donald Trump’s new “border czar,” Tom Homan, has unveiled a firm approach to immigration enforcement, including a return to workplace raids. Homan, appointed Sunday, said Monday that the raids will target illegal employment practices linked to trafficking.
“Worksites are where we find many victims of sex trafficking and forced labor trafficking,” Homan explained during an appearance on Fox & Friends.
Tom Homan announces he will begin workplace immigration raids.
If you are illegal, get out of our country now. It will save us time and energy, and also spare you the humiliation. The days of gaming America's immigration system with impugnity are over.
Get out.

Homan also accused the Biden administration of losing track of over 300,000 children brought into the US by cartels. He called for immediate action to address these failures and prevent further exploitation.
Sanctuary cities will not escape enforcement, according to Homan, who said federal agents will ensure immigration laws are upheld, even without local cooperation. “We’ll double our resources in these areas if necessary,” he warned.

While activists criticized Homan’s policies as punitive, he defended them as essential for dismantling trafficking networks. His plans include prioritizing the deportation of illegal immigrants with criminal records.

Homan’s appointment marks a return to Trump’s immigration priorities, signaling a stark departure from the Biden administration’s lenient policies. The focus on workplace enforcement and sanctuary cities is expected to stir heated debates nationwide.
