China’s Quiet Fentanyl War On The US

The crisis at the southern border is taking on a new level of peril, as Chinese assistance to Mexican cartels in the fentanyl trade becomes apparent. According to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), China is the primary source of fentanyl and fentanyl-related substances trafficked into the United States.

Fentanyl may be the deadliest illicit drug in history, as overdoses are the leading cause of death in the U.S. among those under 45.

In 2022 it was observed that 2,000 Chinese lurked on the Mexican side of the border, assisting Mexican cartels in producing and distributing fentanyl.

In 2023 the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) documented 37,000 Chinese who crossed illegally into the United States. This is a fifty-fold increase from just two years ago.

China suspended all counter-narcotics cooperation with the United States in August 2022. Curiously, this is about the same time frame as when the aforementioned Chinese migrant surge began. Beijing has also not cooperated with the U.S. on any DEA indictments of Chinese nationals since 2017.

Chinese chemical companies smuggle the precursor ingredients for fentanyl into Mexico.

One large Chinese pharmaceutical firm that produces the horse tranquilizer xylazine has been identified as a culprit. That substance is often added to street fentanyl to increase its potency.

Multiple small and mid-level Chinese companies have also been identified as suppliers to Mexican cartels — and Beijing does little or nothing to stop it.

President Biden has not aggressively confronted the Chinese about their complicity in the United States fentanyl problem. One dark reason for this could be the financial and business connections the Biden family has had with Chinese companies.

Peter Schweizer, author of the book Blood Money, said in an interview with Mark Levin of The Blaze: “That, to me, is the epitome of negligence, criminal negligence, because what you’re essentially saying is we know this is a systematic effort; we know that fentanyl is coming; we know that tens of thousands of Americans are dying every year, and our agenda is more important than actually protecting the American people.”

Many see the Chinese complicity in flooding the U.S. with fentanyl as a form of warfare. This highly potent drug kills off and weakens the younger military-age generations and lays waste to America’s values, morale and culture. China, in essence, has become an agent of chaos for the United States and Western civilization.
