Comedian Charlamagne tha God recently slammed President Joe Biden and questioned his electability, claiming that he has “never been a good candidate.”
The prominent radio host also slammed the left for changing their stance on sanctuary cities across the U.S. and enacting policies that exacerbate illegal immigration.
Charlamagne tha God said that although the strategies of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to bus unlawful migrants to Democrat-run cities were “effective,” they were also “cruel” and “inhumane.”
“Clearly it was effective because it made a lot of those Democrats start singing a different tune. And, I mean, the voters see that. The voters see that,” the radio host said. “So what does that look like to the voter? Just on the surface, just on the surface, it looks like Republicans were right about the issue and Democrats got it wrong.”
“And now a lot of Democrats are starting to sound like the Republicans sounded,” he added. “So it makes a lot of people say, ‘Well, damn, Republicans were actually right on that issue.’ Just on the surface, just plain on the surface, that’s how it looks, you know, to the average voter.”
Charlamagne tha God also went after Biden for his refusal to secure the southern border and soothe the illegal immigration crisis.
“I honestly have never spoken to as many people who are concerned about the migrant issue as I have over the past year … [Biden] is the President of the United States of America. If he can take credit for the good things that happen in this country, he has to take credit for the bad as well because those things happen on his watch,” he said.

The radio host pointed out that Americans would question Democrats for flip-flopping on illegal immigration after initially expressing their support for unlawful migrants arriving in the U.S. heading into the 2024 election.
Charlamagne tha God continued by arguing that the 2020 presidential election would have gone in a different direction had the Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots over longtime criminal George Floyd’s death not occurred.
“So he’s just never been a good candidate, ever, like in the history of life! Just look at the record of the times he ran before,” he said.
