Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux is calling out Vice President Kamala Harris for using his image without permission in a “misleading” campaign ad. The sheriff, who has 37 years of law enforcement experience, says he does not support Harris and instead backs former President Donald Trump.
“I would like to point out the misleading information projected in that same political ad,” Boudreaux said in a statement to Fox News Digital. He criticized Harris’s claims about her record on border security and fighting crime.
The ad shows Harris with local law enforcement during a 2014 visit when she was California’s Attorney General. Boudreaux says Harris took credit for work done by local officers and didn’t even greet them during the visit.
“How can you go in and promote that you were this tight border person when all the troops are coming across the border, and you literally are eliminating all these task forces?” Boudreaux asked.
The sheriff’s political action committee, Golden State Justice, also slammed Harris’s ad. They accused her of undercutting efforts to stop criminals from bringing guns and drugs across the border when she was Attorney General.
Boudreaux made it clear where he stands in the 2024 race: “Looking for someone who’s going to support criminal justice and law enforcement, that is best represented by Donald Trump, not Kamala Harris.”
