Anglican priest Calvin Robinson, who recently moved from the UK to Michigan, has issued a stern warning to Americans. Robinson, who now runs a full-time parish ministry in Michigan, has spoken out about the alarming consequences of liberalism in his home country and urged the U.S. not to repeat the same mistakes.
“Please don’t do what we did,” Robinson said in an interview with The Christian Post. The priest emphasized how the erosion of Christian values in the UK has led to widespread societal decay. He believes the U.S. is in danger of heading down the same path if it continues to embrace woke ideologies that undermine the country’s foundational Christian ethics.
Robinson explained how liberalism has gradually replaced traditional values in the UK, leading to what he describes as a collapse of common sense and Christian morality. He lamented the fact that Britain, once rooted in Christian principles, is now grappling with issues that threaten to tear the country apart.
Robinson pointed out that, historically, the West was known as Christendom because of its Christian foundations. He said that attempts to remove Christ from society are causing the entire structure to crumble. He warned that the U.S. must avoid allowing these same liberal ideologies to replace Christian ethics.
While expressing deep concern over the cultural shift in America, Robinson emphasized that he remains hopeful. He believes that although Western civilization may be in decline, God’s plan will prevail. “Empires rise and fall, and this may be the time for the West to fall, but another season will come,” he said.
