New York City Mayor Eric Adams revealed that President Joe Biden brushed off his requests for help with the migrant crisis by telling him to “be a good Democrat.” In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Adams shared his frustration with the administration’s handling of the crisis that has overwhelmed the city.
Adams explained that thousands of illegal immigrants continue to arrive in New York, many without the ability to work, leaving city services stretched thin. He noted that the city has been forced to provide shelter, food and education with little assistance from the federal government.
Having been indicted by the Biden DOJ for political crimes, New York Mayor Eric Adams is sounding a lot like a Trump voter these days.

Facing his own legal troubles, Adams pointed to the Democratic Party’s failure to address immigration challenges, claiming they have ignored the concerns of working-class Americans. He argued that the crisis is growing worse because of poor policy decisions and a lack of enforcement.
Carlson questioned Adams about the city’s sanctuary status and whether it has contributed to the crisis. Adams insisted that while New York upholds certain policies, the federal government’s failure to secure the border is the main issue.

Despite criticism for appearing on Carlson’s show, Adams’ office defended the move, stating that the mayor is willing to have conversations with individuals across the political spectrum to find solutions.
Adams has also expressed interest in working with President Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan to address crime tied to illegal immigration and ensure those committing crimes are held accountable.
